“Horrors” is the debut album from Swedish rock band MoLD and it was released on 26th July by GMR Music. The band shouldn’t be confused with the Manchester band of the same name. The new album is being released via Plastic Head Distribution and our friends at Work Hard PR brought it to our attention. I included the album’s opening track “Horsemen Riding” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 26th July.
There are two NI Rocks Shows uploaded each week on Rock Radio NI. These are the playlists for those shows for the month of July – all of which are still available from the On Demand Player. There are tracks by over 150 different artists on the Shows this month. Playlists for June were published previously and these Shows are also available via the On Demand Player – http://www.rockradioni.co.uk/news/rrni-updates/3615-ni-rocks-playlists-for-june-2019.html
This month the Friday NI Rocks Show included interviews with Caterina Nix from Chaos Magic and with Jackie ‘Jax’ Chambers from Girlschool and Syteria.
“Out of Connection” is the third album from Italian symphonic/melodic metal band SinHeresY and it was released on 26th July by Scarlet Records. The band formed in 2009 and features shared male / female lead vocals. Fans of bands like Amaranthe and Delain would definitely want to check out the album. I played the tracks “Out of Connection” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 28th June and “Zero One” on 19th July.

“Bleed for Passion” is the fourth album from American band Faithsedge and it was released by Scarlet Records on 26th July. The band formed in 2009 and is largely centred around singer and guitarist Giancarlo Floridia. I posted an interview with Giancarlo back in 2014 after the release of the band’s second album, but there have been some key line-up changes since then. The track “Back From This” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 19th July.
