“By Hook Or By Crook” is the second full length album from Norwegian metal band Shotgun Rodeo and it was released on 24th August by Mighty Music. It’s a little heavier than a lot of the other albums that I’ve posted recommendations for recently, but the band have a distinctive sound that appeals to me! I included the excellent track “Tony Iommi” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 20th July.

“The Chronicles of Eunomia Part 1” is a concept album from Norwegian power metal band Eunomia and it was released on 24th August through Pride & Joy Music. The tracks on the album relate to the struggles in the fantasy kingdoms of Valley Doom and Eunomia and they have been created by brothers Marius and Peter Danielsen. Australian band The Radio Sun released their latest album, “Beautiful Strange”, through Pride & Joy Music on 24th August. This is their fifth album is as many years and the band continue to deliver top quality melodic rock. The Radio Sun are no strangers when it comes to playing in the UK and have a good fan-base here. The latest album certainly won’t disappoint any of those fans. I included the track “Hold On Tight” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 3rd August.
