Black Star Riders, fronted of course by local singer Ricky Warwick, today announced more details on the release of their new album “Another State of Grace” as well as a series of tour dates that sees them return to Dublin on 16th October and Belfast on 17th October. Support on both dates comes from Stone Broken who supported Buckcherry on tour last year and returned to both cities to play headline shows last month.

“(But At What Cost??!)” is the third album from American band Silvertung and it was released on 15th February by Thermal Entertainment. There are just seven tracks and at about 25 minutes long it may be close to being an EP, but it is definitely worth checking out. I included the single “Done My Best” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 1st February and the track “Dodging Bullets” on the Show on 22nd February.

“Fight The Fear” is the fourth ‘solo’ album from Herman Frank and it was released on 8th February by AFM Records. The German guitarist is probably best known for his involvement in the bands Accept and Victory, but his own solo project has essentially evolved into another band since the first release in 2009. The track “Fear” from the new album was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 1st February.

“Rebuild Destroy” is the third album from Australian rockers Massive and it was released on 1st February via Off Yer Rocka Recordings. The band formed in 2012 and released their first album independently in 2013, before being picked up by Earache Records who re-released the first album and then released the follow-up in 2016. “Rebuild Destroy” is the band’s first release with OYR. The track “Long Time Coming” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 25th January.
