_{Local rockers Trucker Diablo release their second album via Ripple Music on 13th May followed by a launch gig in The Diamond Rock Club, Ahoghill on 18th May. The band have a great following in the local rock scene and have had considerable success over the past few years in the wider arena. Trucker Diablo is Tom Harte on guitar / vocals, Simon Haddock on guitar /vocals’ Glenn Harrison on bass and Terry Crawford on drums. We thought it was a good time to do another interview with Tom ahead of the release of the new album.}

THERE is a school of professional thought that when reviewing gigs a journalist should stand cooly at the back of the venue, surveying the scene in a detached, aloof manner, with his pen poised to record pithy phrases and putdowns.

_{Burning Rain have been around since 1998 but “Epic Obsession” is only the third album by the band that features Doug Aldrich on guitars, Keith St John on vocals, Sean McNabb on bass and Mat Starr on drums. The album is released by Frontiers Records on 17th May 2013. As is to be expected what you get is an album full of great tracks liberally sprinkled with Mr Aldrich’s magic touch on guitar and powerfully delivered by Mr St John. And you certainly don’t get short changed either with 14 tracks lasting almost an hour and a quarter!}
