_{Like many of my generation I had bought the early House of Lords albums released between 1988 and 1992. In fact I’m fairly sure that “Sahara” was one of the first albums that I bought on CD rather than vinyl. I’ve remained a big fan of the band ever since and writing a recommendation for “”Precious Metal”, their sixth studio album since reforming in 2000, was pretty much a certainty! The album is released through Frontiers Records on 21st February.}

FOR those not familiar with the Northern Irish and north Antrim vernacular 'quare craic' can be loosely interpreted from the bastardised Ulster Scots and Gaelic as 'a good time' - and a good time was seemingly had by all at the Diamond Rock Club in Ahoghill as The Quireboys and Ajenda rocked acoustically.

_{English band The Brew release a new album entitled “Control” on 20th February, their fifth studio album since forming in 2004. The band have toured extensively across Europe, playing alongside some of the biggest names in the music business and winning a load of awards along the way. The band is fronted by Jason Barwick on vocals / guitar, with Tim Smith on bass and his son Kurt Smith on drums and percussion. The band are due to play the Diamond Rock Club in Ahoghill on 10th May following a month long tour around Europe and Tim agreed to answer a few questions for us in advance of the album release and tour.}
