Battleaxe emerged from Sunderland in 1980 during the height of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) movement, releasing two albums before being hit by line-up changes that pushed the band out of the spotlight for a while. The band reformed in 2010 to play the Wacken Open Air Festival and work began on their third album. “Heavy Metal Sanctuary” is released by Steamhammer / SPV on February 24th

W.E.T. follow-up the release of their second album “Rise Up” in February 2013 with a live album recorded at an exclusive show in the Debaser Club in Stockholm on 17th January 2013. W.E.T. of course consists of Robert Säll (the “W” from Work of Art), Erik Mårtensson (the “E” from Eclipse) and Jeff Scott Soto (the “T” from Talisman). “One Live – In Stockholm” is released through Frontiers Records on 21st February as a double CD / DVD package. As well as playing tracks from both W.E.T. albums the band played two Talisman tracks and one each from Work of Art and Eclipse. This release also includes two studio recordings as bonus tracks.
