This month on the Shows I re-broadcast the interview with No Hot Ashes singer Eamon Nancarrow and there was a new interview with Jizzy Pearl. http://www.rockradioni.co.uk/interviews.html - an interview with Linnéa Vikström from QFT / Therion was uploaded on 2nd May.
Swedish singer Linnéa Vikström made her name as a member of symphonic metal band Therion. She has just completed an extensive tour with the band following the release of their latest album “Beloved Antichrist”. In addition, Linnéa fronts her own band called QFT whose debut album “Live In Space” is released on 4th May. I spoke to Linnéa via Skype to talk about her band and the new album. That interview, along with three tracks from the album can be heard on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 4th May - now available on our MixCloud page - https://www.mixcloud.com/NIRocks/interview-with-linn%C3%A9a-vikstr%C3%B6m-from-qft-therion-on-the-friday-ni-rocks-show-4th-may-2018/

“Perfect Storm” is the debut album from Swedish melodic hard band Volster and it was released on 20th April by Rock of Angels Records (ROAR). The band take their influences mainly from the rock bands of the late 70’s and early 80’s and two of the band members had been in the band Masquerade together in the late 80’s and early 90’s. The title track “Perfect Storm” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 13th April.
“Of Jupiter And Moons” is the fourth studio album from Italian melodic / symphonic / power metal band Temperance and it was released on 20th April by Scarlet Records. The band has a distinctive sound resulting from the fact that it features three vocalists in the line-up. However, on this latest album there is a significant change with the arrival of two new vocalists. The album’s title track was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 13th April.
