“Black Coffee” is the second album from Danish hard rock band Junkyard Drive and it was released on 1st September by Mighty Music. This is the follow-on to “Sin & Tonic” which was released last year and the band has been busy over the past 18 months touring, playing festivals and recording! The single “Sweet Little Dreamer” was included on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 15th June and then on the NI Rocks A-Z Show on 7th August.

Californian power metal band Helion Prime released their second album, “Terror of the Cybernetic Space Monster”, through AFM Records on 31st August. I’d almost post a recommendation just to get mentioning that awesome title, but in reality this is an album well worth checking out for the nine tracks that it features! The title track is actually a seventeen minute epic, but I still might include it on a Show sometime! Instead, I included “A King Is Born” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 31st August.

I featured the track “You Are The Young” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 21st September.

Monte Pittman is probably best known as being Madonna’s guitarist for almost twenty years, but he is also a very accomplished solo artist and on 31st August he released two new albums through Metal Blade Records. “Between The Space” is a heavy album, whilst “Better or Worse” is an acoustic album. Pittman provides the vocals and plays all the instruments on both albums. I included the track “Depth Perception” from “Better or Worse” on the Friday NI Rocks Show on 31st August.
