FOR those not familiar with the Northern Irish and north Antrim vernacular 'quare craic' can be loosely interpreted from the bastardised Ulster Scots and Gaelic as 'a good time' - and a good time was seemingly had by all at the Diamond Rock Club in Ahoghill as The Quireboys and Ajenda rocked acoustically.

_{English band The Brew release a new album entitled “Control” on 20th February, their fifth studio album since forming in 2004. The band have toured extensively across Europe, playing alongside some of the biggest names in the music business and winning a load of awards along the way. The band is fronted by Jason Barwick on vocals / guitar, with Tim Smith on bass and his son Kurt Smith on drums and percussion. The band are due to play the Diamond Rock Club in Ahoghill on 10th May following a month long tour around Europe and Tim agreed to answer a few questions for us in advance of the album release and tour.}

 

 

OKAY - there are many types of metal lurking out there in the wilderness, from classic to industrial, from jazz to technical, from death to black, all shades of metal is there or thereabouts in our iTunes accounts or are CD collection. But A Cappella metal? That's just on the outer edge.
