Nordic Union is another of those music collaborations which Frontiers have become the masters of creating over the last few years. This one brings together Ronnie Atkins of the Pretty Maids and Erik Martensson from Eclipse and W.E.T. and has resulted in an album that is well worth checking out. Quite often my album recommendations relate to releases from bands whose members are around my age, or at minimum who have been releasing albums for ten years or so! To discover a band who’s first release was within this decade is therefore always very reassuring. In this case the band in question is Worry Blast from Switzerland and the album I’m recommending is “Hit The Gas” which was released via Mighty Music / Target on 22nd January.
