Truth be told we never really 'got' the whole Graveyard Classic thing before. It was all well and good and a little entertaining. However, on number four they have nailed it impressively, Barnes practically losing it in an effort to extract each ounce of fun in his death metal delivery of 11 classics.

Sometimes you hear a cover version of a classic rock track and the response could range from cringing a little to outright revulsion. Other times, it can be almost a revelation, and sound as good, or even better than the original. My response to Jorn’s album “Heavy Rock Radio” which was released by Frontiers Records on 3rd June, definitely falls into the latter category. Having listened to previous cover versions released by Jorn over the years, I was expecting no less. In other words, there are cover versions and then there are Jorn Lande cover versions!!
In May I posted a recommendation for the debut album by a band from England called One Last Run. As I didn’t know that much about the band, but thought the album was really good, I decided to contact Rage PR (who had sent us the album to check out) to get One Last Run to answer a few questions and find out more about the band. Lead singer Becky Roberts answered the questions for us and these are posted below. The guys in the band are Jack Pennington (Guitar), Rob Leach (Guitar), Chris Smith (Bass) and Dan Brown (Drums). One Last Run completed a short tour in the UK mainland at the end of May and play the Wildfire Festival in Glasgow this weekend (24th – 26th June).
